I'd been meaning to make something bright and psychedelic and positive and a trying personal week really demanded of me some deep "light-work".
I recorded an original tune using Apple Logic Pro, my first work using it after upgrading from GarageBand (why didn't I do that sooner?,) and then proceded to construct a visualization using another recent software purchase (Synesthesia). After creating a couple of layers of video with that I ran the whole thing through Stable Diffusion and got this beautiful musical mandala.
I tried to keep the imagery neutral or at least non-threatening. I wanted the piece to convey many forms, including life-forms, but more as snapshots and glimpses instead of as characters even aware of the viewer. My feeling was that this video would be a kind of hyper-dimensional cross-section of patterns and forms in the universe.
