Synthesthesia
This is an audio/video melting pot homage of tropes from my formative years (the 1980s) which are Saturday morning cartoons + horror movies + early CGI + synthesizer music. I started by writing the music, and after several terrible attempts of adding vocals with a vocoder, I left it as an instrumental this time around. I also decided to not use actual movie media clips here and just go with homegrown CGI and shadertoy renders. Added some really cheesy off-the-shelf effects with my PowerDirector 365 to bring it home. Enjoy!
